The Club Wine
As a member you'll be making a wine through a democratic process - from harvest through the tasting notes, you'll vote your way through the winemaking process and receive six bottles at the end. So what will it be for your vote? Still or fizz? Red, white, orange or pink? You decide!
Get Your Hands Dirty
Throughout your year’s membership, we'll invite you to get hands-on in the winemaking process. Clear the diary for the dates below:
• October - get picking on a harvest day. Come and select bunches of grapes, some of which may be used for your Club wine.
• November - a virtual winemakers forum with Adrian Pike. Ask some questions, learn more about the winemaking process and also talk about the future plans for your wine.
• February - taste the tanks in this unique opportunity to learn how our wines are fermenting and how we expect that to evolve.
• June - it'll be time to think about the label design and tasting notes as we have a first glimpse of how your wine is shaping up.
• September - a collection party for members to celebrate the first SDY vintage! Taste the wine you made and take your bottles home!

During your membership, we'll make sure you aren’t thirsty at Christmas - you'll receive six bottles of Westwell wine in December as part of your membership.

Join the Adventure
We want to share our love of wine and the winemaking process with you - bringing important decisions on how to make the wine to you. As a member, you'll have the opportunity to vote on and influence the wine that the Club produces. Of course, we can help along the way and when a decision is required, we'll share the wine theory with you so you can make a more informed decision on the next step.
Throughout the year, you'll have the opportunity to build your wine knowledge with hands-on events and experiences to learn how we make the wines you love.
How does the subscription work?
The subscription is paid either on an annual or quarterly basis. Your subscription covers all of the benefits for the duration of the 12 months.
What will my wine allocation include?
You'll receive 6 bottles of Westwell Wine which will showcase our favourites such as Ortega and Pelegrim but as our wines evolve, we'll share new ones too. You'll also receive six bottles of the Club wine made through the democratic voting process when it's ready.
How much is delivery?
Delivery is included in your subscription payment. Should you order more wines during the course of the year, there is free UK delivery for orders over £100. We're unable to offer international delivery at the moment.
Am I tied in?
Not at all. When you're approaching the 12 month anniversary of your subscription, we will send you an email where you can choose to renew or cancel.
What happens if I miss a vote?
Don’t worry! We will try and give as much time as possible for you to vote. Just make sure our email address is in your safe senders so you don’t miss it! If you do miss one, it’s fine - we will share the decision of the vote and how the results were split.
What type of questions will we vote on?
Votes will be all-encompassing - from the colour of the grapes and the type of wine through to the type of fermentation vessel and much more. It will all depend on how you vote from the outset.
Can I join if the voting has already started?
Yes - although we can’t usually change the voting decisions that have already been made.
TERMS & CONDITIONS
Members must be 18 years or over on 1 September 2024.
Minimum 12 months subscription payable either in a single payment upfront or quarterly payments.
If the Club Exclusive wine is not deemed satisfactory by the Head Winemaker, you will receive one bottle plus five standard Westwell wines.
Participation in events is optional. No refund or price discount will be offered.
In-person events grant one person entry only. Additional tickets could be purchased for £15 per ticket. Tickets can be transferable.
